Projects

Our projects

ABOCA verds initiates and coordinates projects that explore different ways of restoring ecosystems, producing food, caring for landscapes and building relationships between people and their territories.

A place for lots of small things to come together and make something bigger.

We work at the intersection of ecological restoration, agroecology, biodiversity, education and culture. Our projects bring together local knowledge, scientific research, traditional practices and creative experimentation to explore how we can care for the places we inhabit and the living systems we depend on.

We believe that meaningful change happens through relationships: between people and the land, between different forms of knowledge, and between the many small actions that make a living landscape possible.

A collaborative project

Regenera Deià

Regenera Deià is one of these projects. Co-initiated and coordinated by ABOCA verds, it brings together ecological restoration, agroecology, biodiversity and community action in Deià.

Within Regenera Deià, we work through practices such as Community Gardens and Guerrilla Grazing, using rotational grazing to manage vegetation, reduce biomass, support biodiversity and reconnect grazing animals with the landscape.

Alongside this interconnected work, ABOCA verds is beginning an Artistic Research Lab exploring how artistic and participatory practices can help us imagine and experience different relationships with land, ecology, care and collective life.

We have shared our work through talks, workshops, gatherings and collaborative projects with:

Community organisations, ecological initiatives, artists, researchers, educators and local groups working across agroecology, ecological restoration, biodiversity, commons and regenerative practices.

We also participate in conversations and spaces exploring degrowth, climate adaptation, food sovereignty, syntropic agroforestry, land stewardship, solidarity economy, community-led change and new ways of relating to territory.

Our work brings together practical experience, research and collective learning — connecting what happens on the ground with wider cultural and ecological questions.

Who we work with

A shared invitation

ABOCA verds is an ongoing experiment in how we can care for the living systems we depend on and build more meaningful relationships with our surroundings.

Our projects take different forms, from growing food and caring for grazing landscapes to learning from animals, observing marine ecosystems, designing regenerative gardens and imagining alternative futures.

What connects them is a belief that ecological and social transformation cannot happen through isolated actions alone. It grows through relationships, shared knowledge, practical care and the willingness to experiment together.

There are many ways to contribute. You can join an activity, share a skill, offer resources, collaborate on a project or simply begin a conversation.

Small actions, shared responsibilities, living landscapes.

If something here resonates with you, we would love to hear from you.
